How To Upload Sharper, More High-Quality Photos To Instagram

✨📣 TUTORIAL

I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about my photography workflow, which I will make a separate video about soon. Since a ton of you have been asking how I am able to upload seemingly high quality photos to Instagram, here are a few of the things I do:

1️⃣ I hardly ever shoot with my phone camera. Not that these aren’t excellent these days, but this is just what I prefer. I mainly shoot on my Sony A7iii, but most importantly always in RAW format. It’s a larger quality format that holds more editing information.

2️⃣ Editing Apps: Listen, I used to be a VSCO girl too, and apps like that or Tezza are a great start. These days, I make all my edits manually using Lightroom Classic and Photoshop so I have more control.

‼ 3️⃣ EXPORT SETTINGS: This one might be the most important yet. You never want to upload a photo that is a small file or poor quality, that goes without saying. You do also want to be mindful if you’re using Photoshop or Lightroom not to fall victim to Instagram’s compression. If your file is too large this will happen, so make sure you crop/export to the 4×5 ratio at 1080 x 1350.

Make sure you have the settings selected I mention in the Reel and you’re golden! 🥇

Heeelllllo old friend! After a couple of really we Heeelllllo old friend! After a couple of really weird health days, you have to take advantage of the good ones. And what a perfect day to break out the aerial hammock. @tiny_singingaerialist and I decided to perform a similar sequence and try to synchronize it, and this was our attempt. Full disclosure, I have not been on my hammock in over a year, so I was pretty pleased. Today was so necessary, as was the need to lie down immediately after. 😵‍💫
Also huge thank you to @miguel_aerialist for re-tying my hammock ❤️🙏
We are all really excited to be flying and training indoors for the winter with @iflytrapeze at their new space in the Source Mall! #aerialsilks #aerialist #aerialistsofig #longisland #nassaucountyny #flyingtrapeze #aerialhammockflow

Radio has always been such a huge part of my life. Radio has always been such a huge part of my life. From the events and concerts to the once-in-a-lifetime chances to meet and interview some of my favorite artists, it’s given me so many memories I’ll never forget. But honestly, the best part has been the connections… the friendships, the listeners, the little family this industry creates.

Digging through some oldies but goodies today in honor of #NationalRadioDay.

Radio is cool. Yes, those are carts in image 1.

The freestyle set with @judytorresmusic, @therealgeorgelamond, @officialcorofp and more had the crowd on their feet. @kimsozzimusic and @pratadude slayed. My inner teenager swooning over @joeymcintyre. What a night!
My hands-down favorite part of the night was tracking down my amazing listeners who came out and had a great time, and the friends I don’t see nearly enough. Love you guys!

After 15 years, bringing Beatstock back to Jones was nothing short of amazing and I’m so proud to have been a part of it 🥹🥰
Nice work everyone!

Animal rescues are the purest kind of good. It’s not easy. You want to save them all.

My heart was so full when my little guy recognized me and was so full of love ♡︎
He seemed so much more relaxed and will do so well as the king of his own castle.
He has such a similar story to my Ollie boy.
Thank you to @lasthopeanimalrescue and @laurenbrandi for allowing me to visit and be your resident photographer of the day.

Stairs can remain my enemy, but there is something truly magical about defying gravity and this type of movement.

This workout, I decided to revisit this fun belay sequence from @caitli4nia - which apparently vacated my brain for the first 20 minutes of my session. 😂

Even though I avoided all gluten and ate well, my feet (specifically my Achilles) were causing so much pain and discomfort.
Despite this, I know that sometimes being stagnant is actually the worst thing.
So I went to the reg gym this week with TONS of modifications.
Box jumps/step-ups feel almost impossible.
Yet, oddly enough I could do 3 full pull-ups, and then these speedy windmills at aerial silks practice this morning.

I may not be able to turn a doorknob, but I’m grateful I’ve still got this 🥹🙏
