Hello friends. How has self-isolation life been treating you? To be honest, I have introvert tendencies, so that part of it I’ve been handling. Complaining about boredom is just not an option when you consider everything that’s happening outside and all around us. I wish there were more I could do, but I know the most important thing WE can do collectively is stay home.
I’ve always been a creator (and collector of odd hobbies.) I’ve done everything from knitting, bracelet-making, perfumes, lotions to even moonlighting as a singer in a cover band. Given that I’m working from home these days and barely going out AT ALL, it gives me more time to learn a new craft. In this case: creating video content for you. I’ve never been a video kind of gal tbh… but I think I’ve caught the bug, at least with the editing part, lol! I’m extremely awkward on-camera as you’ll see here:
In this video, which is the the 3rd in the series posted to my brand new YouTube channel, I run through a basic “natural look” using just a few products.
FYI: I am NOT a professional makeup artist… I just love buying makeup (see my Sephora Rouge status 😬.) In any case, this is my way of connecting with you so I don’t feel so isolated. I’m so grateful to be self-isolating with my incredible boyfriend, Dr. Nebraska who is an absolute dream.
Isn’t he adorable?! (He’s on the right.)
Going LIVE on Instagram has certainly been filling the void I’ve been feeling with the lack of interacting with other live humans. It’s also a fun challenge to do this while simultaneously recording a YouTube video. 😂😅
I hope you’ll join me on this fun adventure, be featured in my videos and just have a good time. We need a distraction right now, and my goal is provide some fun entertainment and maybe even some inspiration to learn something new.
